
Stepping Stones Museum for Children Chooses Crossbow Group
For Appeal Efforts
Westport, CT Stepping Stones Museum for Children in Norwalk,
CT, an education-based, hands-on museum for children under ten years of age
has selected Crossbow Group to optimize returns from its annual appeal efforts.
Crossbow will work closely with Stepping Stones management team and board
to develop and execute strategies to measurably increase the nonprofit organizations
response rates and ROI.
According to Carol Brennan-Smith, director of marketing and communications
for Stepping Stones "This is the first time the museum has partnered with
an external firm to help with our an-nual appeal. Crossbow was selected for
their experience in direct response and for their dem-onstrated commitment to
the museums future growth. Our goal this year it to raise $440,000 to
support museum operations, new exhibits, educational and community outreach
programs, and accessibility initiatives. To ensure we reach our goal, were
partnering with Crossbow to develop a compelling appeal, expand our donor base
and exceed 2003 giving totals."
